Casa Rosca Sighisoara

We stayed at Casa Roșca for three nights and absolutely loved it! The place is spotlessly clean and charmingly decorated, with a lot of love for detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable – honestly, one of the most comfortable ones we’ve had on our trip. The courtyard and garden are beautiful, like a little oasis. We were warmly welcomed, and the whole atmosphere felt very homey and family-like. Breakfast isn’t included, but every morning we were treated to coffee and a slice of cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests’ comfort. The location is perfect – only about a 15-minute walk to the Citadel. Since it’s slightly outside the busiest part of town, parking is super easy; you can simply leave your car in one of the nearby side streets. The only small downside: in the upstairs room, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. This didn’t bother us much as we didn’t really need it, and I assume it works better in the common areas. Overall, we can definitely recommend Casa Roșca and would happily stay here again!

I chose the location based on the reviews on Booking.com, a beautiful location but unfortunately located next to the national road, a tourist said that you can't hear the traffic. I disagree, you can feel vibrations, let alone the noise of truck engines, especially since there is a traffic light nearby and you can tell when the vehicles are starting up. I recommend the location to those who want to relive the boarding school atmosphere where the teacher kept an eye on you all the time. "Hotel Casa Rosca offers private check-in and check-out, as well as a common room with a TV. In addition, the hotel staff speaks fluent English and Romanian, always ready to help guests with useful information about the local area." As you can see in the text above, there is a shared room that the host reproached us for monopolizing, given that we were three couples and there was another couple from Luxembourg who spoke English, which is why the host (In addition, the hotel staff speaks fluent English and Romanian, always ready to help guests) asked us to help her because she does not know English. Finally, the icing on the cake was the reproach that we drank too many coffees and searched in the closet without asking her permission. Conclusion, if you like the boarding school atmosphere and want to charge yourself with negative energy, this is the right place.

I gave "only" 5 stars because 10 is not possible! Impeccable location, everything superlative and prepared down to the smallest detail by Mrs. Marcela, the host of the location, a wonderful woman from all points of view. Perfect cleanliness, refined furniture, a truly welcoming and relaxing courtyard that offers you all the comfort, the location is very well positioned in relation to all the tourist attractions (10 min walk) and has free parking in its immediate vicinity. Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations for what you do and offer to your customers!
