Albergue de Peregrinos Hospital San Bruno

No heating or quilts provided - it's freezing! You can pay for extra blankets, but the basic setup is very cold. There's no kitchen available for guests, though paid breakfast and dinner are offered. The toilet and shower are located out in the courtyard, The toilet and shower are located in the outdoor courtyard, which is a real pain if you need to use the restroom at night. The place is in an extremely remote village. Think twice before booking unless you're a well-equipped pilgrim!

15€ for Pilgrim bed is overpriced for this kind of accomodation. The owners are friendly, but it looks artificial. You have to go outside to use the toilet, and also for the showers, because they are not part of the house. They promised us if they were not occupied when we arrived, 2 beds below because we couldn't sleep on the top bed - and even though we arrived and there were at least 6-7 beds free - they didn't want to give us the second bed below! Luckily, two nice Norwegian women came and let us have theirs. Overall, I don't recommend it. Not for that money!

I really enjoyed my stay here. While the facilities are separate from the rooms, it presented no problem. The highlight was the pilgrims meal that was freshly prepared and presented with typical Italian pride.
