Sonne-Post

We went to the lovely restaurant at the Sonne-Post hotel with our friends and their young child. Service was great and the food was really nice. My wife is Gluten intolerant but she was still able to have Schweinschnitzel as the made a non breadcrumb coating, especially for her.

We stopped by this place on our way to our hotel. It was late lunchtime. They still were able to accommodate us. We were seated and made a selection from the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was spot on. The waitress very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. The attention to detail makes for a great dining experience.

typical black forest hotel in the best sense possible. the rooms are large and cozy while being super clean with excellent bedding, i slept like a baby. the food is very good as well with some typical local game options, like deer steak and deer stew. the cook seems a bit too worried about staining his pans 😉 ... the meat could do with a little more browning, but that's just a minor observation on my side. super breakfast was just the icing on the cake, i will be back for sure!
