Leonards Cove Holiday Village

We stayed in one of the cliff top bungalows for three days in late November and were fortunate to have bright dry days. The holiday park itself was well kept, neat and tidy and ideally located on sloping land overlooking the bay providing an appealing view. The park staff were helpful and friendly and only to pleased to accommodate where they could. The bungalow itself was made welcoming by having the heating already on for us before we arrived. It was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well appointed with everything that was needed. There was plenty of linen and the bed comfortable, the lounge had plenty of seating. From the park it was a pleasant walk into Dartmouth along the coastal path and there was also a regular bus service with a stop at the park entrance. Overall an ideal place to stay.

My friend and I stayed in an ocean 21 caravan. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The view was spectacular! We've stayed in many places both in the UK and abroad, this view topped them.We asked for the single bedroom to be made up as a double so we both had a comfortable room each. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen immaculate. It was quiet and peaceful, bliss! Blackpool Sands was lovely, takeaway cafe great. Otter & Butterfly sanctuary a delight, a drive away. Lovely walks. We took the bus into Dartmouth, no parking worries! Really enjoyed lunch at the Singing Kettle, cake and cream tea beautifully presented. All of the staff encountered at the park were helpful. We were self catering and ate in most evenings. A good fridge freezer and well equipped kitchen made this easy. We would say Leonards Cove is more for adults given it's location. We loved it and would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay at Pound Loft Spa. Great hot tub on the patio and balcony with sea view from the lounge. Accommodation very clean and spacious, lovely showers in both bathrooms. Simple check-in and friendly staff. Great pub a few minutes walk away. Nice walk into Dartmouth (around an hour) and easy walk to Blackpool beach (around 20 mins). Only minor negative - lounge sofa not very comfortable. Otherwise perfect
