Hôtel Restaurant TRABENIA

We slept here on our first day of walking the GR10, but we didn't try the food. We stayed in a nice ensuite room with air conditioning. It's located about 10min from the main trail, right along the main road. The building has a nice quiet terrace to relax. It's on the expensive side but everything is well-managed and clean and the hosts are friendly.

Such amazing service and food!! And a great room for a stopover stay on the GR10! 10/10!!

I was lucky enough spend the weekend with my friends at Trabenia as I can only describe the entire stay as perfect. Firstly, the staff is welcoming, polite and always with a smile on their faces (Greg, Candice, Molly and the rest, you rock!) The rooms are simple but clean and very comfortable but the highlight is the food at the restaurant: good, local products treated with respect, delicious meats, incredible smoked trout...oh, and that gateau Basque from the local boulangerie will forever be in my dreams😅. Fantastic wine selection as well. 10 out of 10, can't wait to go back!
