We stayed at Saratz for a few nights in February 2026 and it was very nice experience. From our room we had a magical view over the Alps (it was full moon so the mountains were clearly visible even at night - stunning view!). The room was spacious though design is a bit dated. Nonetheless, overall we found the room comfortable. The food was very good overall. From hearty breakfast (which helped survive the cold winter days!) to the lunch menu to the hotel restaurants, especially Pitschna Scena).

We have stayed at Saratz’ for four days. They have a small pool but it’s not crowded. The location is great, it’s a short walk from the station. Reception is super helpful and gave us a lot tips regarding sightseeing options. Great food! Amazing view from the balcony. Definitely recommend, true 4 stars hotel.

On the positive side, the room was very clean and well maintained. The pool, gym and spa areas were lovely — a great place to relax. A special shout out to the fantastic team in the supervised kids’ playroom. They were warm, attentive and genuinely engaged with the children, which made a big difference to our stay and gave us some much-needed downtime. Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience. The service throughout the hotel was rather slow, disorganised and felt quite impersonal. At times it seemed as though staff were overwhelmed or poorly coordinated, probably due to a lack of clear management. There was also a large corporate event taking place during our stay, which dominated the hotel atmosphere and detracted from the relaxed holiday vibe we were expecting, as many areas felt taken over by the event. Most concerning, one member of our group experienced food poisoning after dining in the hotel restaurant (Pitschna Scena). When we raised this with management, the F&B manager appeared completely unbothered by the complaint and asked us what we expected him to do, rather than responding with empathy or offering any form of apology or gesture. Nothing was offered to address the situation. This response demonstrated the poor level of service and lack of care for guests. Adding to this impression, charred scrambled eggs were on the breakfast buffet daily as well as undercooked enormous bowls of dry porridge were provided when ordered from the breakfast menu. We really found this below par for a 4 star hotel... Overall, while the facilities themselves are good and the children’s team is excellent, the service and handling of issues need significant improvement for this to feel like a true holiday experience.
