I've been to four summer camps with teenagers, and while it's basic, it was welcoming, basic, and suitable for the activity. I went on July 29th, and it was closed with a sign indicating "unsafe building."

Beautiful place! We arrived exhausted after a seven-hour hike. We were greeted with a wonderful plate of gnocchi and fondue and a lovely platter of cured meats featuring spectacular Fontina cheese. The staff was very young and super friendly. We slept in a clean dormitory with hot showers. Luckily, it was just us, otherwise it would have been a bit cramped: perhaps a bunk bed should be removed. It's important to wrap up warm because the dormitories aren't apparently heated, and at 2,000m it's not hot even in summer! BIG FLAW: We asked for a couple of sandwiches for lunch the next day, and we were given two small sandwiches for a whopping €12. After dinner the night before and a delicious breakfast with Nutella and jams, I expected something better.

Very basic, in need of major renovations. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired, both in the rooms and in the linens. Even the pellet stove, left on and unattended overnight next to various wood piled up for maintenance, doesn't seem like a great idea. The cellar would be much better, although the price paid—60 euros for the overnight stay, dinner (a cold cuts/cheese platter and a plate of tagliolini with tomato sauce), a coffee, a slice of cake, and a Coke, all extra with dinner—is completely unjustified and completely against all common sense. At this point, I wonder what I could have paid for breakfast, which I couldn't enjoy because it's served so late. It's a real shame to propose such a thing to pilgrims, and then one wonders why the Via Francigena isn't given the respect it deserves.
