International Hotel Killarney & Hannigan's Bar, Restaurant & Terrace

We recently stayed for two nights at the international hotel Killarney, and from start to finish, it was an absolutely lovely experience. Myself and my two friends were so impressed by the warm welcome we received on arrival. To our complete surprise, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite on the day of arrival and we were absolutely delighted. The suite was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. On one of the evenings, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and both the food and the service were absolutely fantastic. A big part of that was thanks to the duty manager on the night. He was so happy to chat with us and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived into the restaurant. He kept a close eye on our table and made sure our drinks were constantly topped up without us even having to ask. It was clear he was just happy doing his job, and that positive attitude really stood out.☺️☺️

I travel to Killarney once or twice a year and have stayed in many different hotels. The International is by far the best. The Staff are so nice. The Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The shower was great. I love that the Bar serves Murphy's Red. The downside I have is the room was incredibly warm and had no way of turning the heating off. A suggestion would be that every room has a Smart TV as most other Hotels do.

We had a family getaway lovely hotel and staff, we had a table booked in bar great food, we all went to bar and paid for our drinks during meal, when we got the bill only for going over bill we would have paid for a round of drinks for another table 40 euro and a side order we did not have. We told a member of staff a lady in suit she took money of bill and said sorry, may be she could have offered some thing for mistake. In saying that food lovely and staff lovely.
