I had a baked potato and grilled veggies. It was very delicious. The service was also good and the personnel nice.

The service was nice but the food really wasn’t. The salad seemed like it had been in the fridge for a while, mushy dark green bits here and there and the dressing was not tasty. The “Currywurst” was just a bratwurst in tomato sauce, far away from what you expect when ordering this. The fries were ok though. If you go a bit further down in the city it’s much nicer places.

Cozy room overlooking the forest, friendly and welcoming staff, good breakfast, great starting point for the trails. After a day long hike you can grab a pint and a meal at the restaurant (it seems everything comes with the same salad ;)) If you're travelling without a car be prepared to walk circa 5 km to the shop or take a bus for eur 2,30. WiFi not reliable. Overall, a good experience.
