Caledonian Canal Centre & Lock Chambers

Stopped in here for breakfast whilst doing the Great Glen Way with our dogs, and had a cracking Highland Breakfast with tea, followed by coffee. All absolutely delicious, amazing views of the canal, and some really interesting wall displays about the canal and it's construction. Lovely, bright, and fresh space that was a pleasure to dine in.

Stopped for lunch whilst visiting the beautiful town of Fort Augustus. Very friendly staff, nice clean seating area. Food was served quick and hot. The soup of the day was delicious and my baked potato with tuna and cheese followed suit. All finished with a small festive empire biscuit and mocha. I was pleasantly impressed by this cafe/restaurant and most definitely return.

Stayed here in one of the rooms that we booked on Airbnb. Highly recommended place for those who are visiting the Highlands as tourist. We slept here on the second night of our roadtrip with my friends. Very nice,quiet location by Loch Ness. We met a housekeeper man in the morning, his name is Hamish, he was very nice and made some suggestions for our trip in Scotland. Overall great experience, will recommend this place to everyone who is planning a trip in Scotland.
