We contacted Ramón about another house he was advertising through Rentalia. He told us it was booked and offered us this house in Inca at a different price. If you're looking for a house full of excitement, this is your ideal vacation home! You'll find a pool that's unusable due to the chlorine (there's a photo of the pH and chlorine levels and the state of one of our swimsuits and a white t-shirt that fell in the water), leaks, flooding, all the local insect fauna (ants, huge cockroaches...), roosters crowing all day long on the neighboring property, a smell of sewage upstairs, damage throughout the house, and kitchenware badly ruined, including knives wrapped in electrical tape... Ramón as a host leaves much to be desired... Every time we contacted him, he gave excuses or absurd solutions. We ended up leaving the house two days earlier than planned. We negotiated a partial refund with Ramón, and we'll never be back. It's a family home that's used as a weekend retreat with zero maintenance and is occasionally rented out. The house, the service, and the host were all terrible.

Paying €2100 for this house is a rip-off. The house is not fit to be rented. It's clearly a second home used only occasionally, judging by the poor maintenance. There are leaks, the upstairs bathroom door is broken (it was a sliding door, and when we arrived, the wheels were missing), and the pool is unsafe for swimming (the grout isn't properly mixed, and the owner refuses to acknowledge it). The stove uses butane gas, and not all the burners work properly. You can't leave any food on the kitchen counter or in the cupboards inside; when you return, everything is infested with ants. From the third night onwards, beetles kept appearing, both inside and outside the house. (We counted 16 in one night: 6 inside and 10 outside around the pool and on the lawn.) Once you entered the house, the bathroom and bedrooms had a nauseating fecal odor. Leaks from the second floor into the bedroom, etc. Honestly, this house isn't fit to accommodate guests and be used for business. We feel cheated and ripped off. This is the first time something like this has happened to me after traveling to this wonderful island for 14 years. The owner admitted to us that the house wasn't up to standard for use as a vacation rental.

Perfect place to spend a few days. Very cozy, clean, and quiet. The owners are perfect hosts, with excellent service. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
