Women's Holiday Centre

This was my first visit and I really hope not the last! I love the WHC so much, the house is so nice and cosy and a great place for women and kids to stay with a playground and playroom and loads of recommendations for walks and activities. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for all dietary requirements, Amy helped us make a bonfire in the garden and it was so relaxing to sit outside and look at the beautiful stars. There was a real community feeling, I'm a very introverted person so I was nervous about sharing a room but the other guests were so kind and made a special effort to include me, like when they cooked dinner they would always ask if I wanted any which was so lovely. Thank you Amy and everyone else who helped make this such a special and safe place

Lovely atmosphere and environment. My two children and I fully enjoyed the playroom full of toys and outdoor space & toys outside. We slept in Platform with 2 other women who had walked the 3 peaks who were lovely and hopefully didn't mind my toddler having a few pre bedtime meltdowns! But it was lovely and we will be going again!

A home away from home. Looks very well lived in but in a comforting relaxed way. The location is beautiful and was perfect for walks or just relaxing in the lounge with your arts and crafts, or to just relax and read. Access to a kitchen is very welcome and makes the stay even more comfortable.
