Summer 2014 my wife and I stayed here with another couple. This is a 1,000 year old castle but still extremely comfortable and the views are fantastic. The swimming pool in the summer is a great idea. The location puts you around 20 minutes from Pienza and the Val d'Orcia. We hope to return soon!

We stayed in a 4 person room with 2br. It was terrific. The food was outstanding, prepared with ingredients primarily grown on site. Our hosts could not have possibly been nicer or more accommodating. Amazing experience!

Vacation at Castello di Saltemnano was a wonderful experience. Beautiful Tuscan scenery surrounding a big swimming pool, the experience of staying at a centuries old castle, with very tastefully decorated rustic apartment, and of course very nice and hospitable hosts, Anita and Corrado, made this one of the best vacations we ever had. We also have to recommend Anita's cooking, she prepares all the dishes with so much love, you can taste it. Thank you, Anita and Corrado, and we hope to come again! Mojca and Martin
