We have just returned from a 4 night stay with Shearings. I have nothing but praise for this hotel. The room we were given was lovely, spacious and comfortable. All the staff were happy to see us and nothing was too much trouble. We thought the food was excellent for a 3 star hotel, and service in the restaurant was excellent. Location was superb. St Mawes is a beautiful place, we loved it. Thank you everyone for making our stay special.

Good size room overlooking harbour. Great views. Parking in council car park a few minutes walk. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food good standard and reasonable choice.

Lovely old hotel on the coast. Wonderful food but rooms in need of refurbishment. A small bar with only 15 seats The hotel is closing in October and reopening as a spa hotel
