Overall, the cottage is very nice and has a modern layout with kitchen dinner. The bedroom is a little snug and needs more storage. Make sure you bring your own hangers as only 7 in the built-in wardrobe. We really enjoyed the hot tub, but bring your own flip flops and make sure you take the outdoor chairs around the corner as their is nowhere to put your dressing gown or towels except on the floor. Their are other property's just the other side of a row of conifers, although the property's can be seen from the hot tub. Very quiet and total dark at night. We walked into Coniston. Once at the bottom of the hill, a footpath runs alongside the road behind bushes. Our first picture shows the roof of the property from the road looking up the hill. The other two are from the sitting room and bedroom.

I stayed here for an extended weekend and was not disappointed. The cottage is furnished to a high standard and all necessities are provided. The pre-visit communication is appropriate and helpful and there was clear and useful guest information provided at the cottage too. My stay was at the beginning of March and so not too cold but I wasn't sure how aggressive the under floor heating system in the absence of radiators would be in very cold weather. It was perfectly suitable for the temperatures during my stay though. The cottage is very close to Coniston village (walkable at 1.5 miles) and is less than half a mile from Monk Coniston which gives a very pretty and peaceful view from the East Side of Coniston Water. Lots of good places nearby if you have a car (Grizedale Forest, Tarn Howes etc). Would recommend bringing a torch if you arrive or are walking to/from the cottage in the dark as there isn't any lighting so would be difficult to navigate without. All in all, a really beautiful cottage in a suitable location- would highly recommend for a peaceful stay

Absolutely amazing place nice location really quiet. Property is lush nice garden sit out and relax just take scenery in .Definitely come back for holiday the only thing I will say probably need a parosol luckily I took my own and also just need few more coat hangers in cupboard apart from that recomend to anyone.
