We highly advise against staying at this accommodation! We arrived in good time before 7 p.m., but no one was there. We couldn't reach anyone by phone either (we tried for over two hours and sent emails). So we had to find another room, which was, of course, very complicated at this time of night! At 1 a.m., when we were already asleep, we received a text message with the PIN for the key box. There was no apology, and we're still waiting for our refund.

NOT RECOMMENDED PLEASE BE AWARE FROM THIS PLEASE It was a disgrace for us, especially because the owner, I think so, is not in charge, the hot water is limited, the air conditioning doesn't work, and you can't even heat the room. Because that's how it is in Italy, he's trying to distract you with this kind of nonsense.

After making a last minute booking for 3 nights, my travel to italy was all cancelled meaning I was not able to leave the UK and travel. I sent Il Ghebo immediately proof my transport had been cancelled so they could see it was impossible for me to get there and requested to cancel just 13 hours after I made my booking and they refused. They wouldn't even consider a partial refund EVEN THOUGH booking.com AGREED THEY SHOULD REFUND ME. booking.com asked them to refund me if full, no surprise they DID NOT RESPOND. These people are out to rob you and don't care that you physically can't get to there country. Its taken me over 2 weeks to get a reply from the 'manager' after repeatly chasing. They had plenty of availability and did not lose a penny as they had loads of availability but they don't care about things happening that are not your fault. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE GOING AND THEY DONT HAVE AN OPTION TO BOOK WITH A REFUND. So if you are planning to go there and for any reason cant make it - REMEMBER THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY AND NOT CARE. AVOID!
