We visited early October 2025, and despite decoration of the house being incomplete, the welcome FAR outweighed our initial anxieties. The family are VERY friendly and hospitable (and hard-working - this place will be FANTASTIC when it's finished !) Svaneti hospitality at it's best ! 🥰

Dont judge the house from the outside. It has new clean rooms with great views, and amazing food. The family is very kind and helpfull with alot of knowledge about the area and Georgian history. One of the best stays on our hiking trip.

Very kind family! The kids invited us to play cards and football - made us feel like at home! Also the food was among the best on the entire Mestia/Ushguli trek and the room was very clean. Would definitely come back!
