Gites BERRETECHIA - Chambres randonneurs GR, cyclistes, motards

Google Maps has the location wrong. It is West of the village of Saint Engrasse, around 500 metres West of the church. A great wee auberge, with rooms with two single beds. Supper and breakfast were extensive and very good (Pierette is a good cook), and the place is clean and tidy. Washing machine available too.

We spent a night at Pierrette's place...in a superb setting...in the heart of the Pyrenees mountains...Very warm welcome...the owner always strives to give her guests the best possible welcome. The evening meal was excellent, the breakfast was perfect. I would like to add that Pierrette knew how to warmly accompany us throughout our stay with her kindness.

My stay at Pierrette's was a truly magical interlude. The cottage, nestled in the heart of a breathtaking mountain landscape, offers absolute tranquility. I loved waking up to the sound of cowbells and breathing in the fresh air. But what really made the difference was Pierrette's warm welcome. Her generosity, thoughtful touches, and kindness made my stay so special. It's much more than just a cottage; it's a unique human encounter. I will definitely be back!
