We had a fantastic time at Parknoweth, probably the best camping experience we have ever had! The facilities are really clean and the whole campsite has a lovely laid back friendly feel to it. We loved all the animals too but a special shout out to Jack and Frank the cats and the goats. Seeing Timmy and Nelson the baby goats running around with the children is a memory I’ll never forget 🐐🤣 Jay and the team are so friendly and always willing to help and chat. We can’t wait to come back 😊🌅

Let me just start this review with - I am not a camper!! This was my first apprehensive trip camping. But I have to say if all camping experiences are like this then bring it on!! The campsite is run by a wonderful guy called Jay who is always on hand to help. It was the August BH and the site remained calm and very peaceful despite our two young children and a couple of others running around. The views and walks are breathtaking. You get to enjoy sunsets over the sea, and Jay will lend you a wonderful firepit if available to use in the evenings. The sky at night is phenomenal. We star gazed for hours seeing shooting stars and satellites galore! The toilets are immaculate!! The showers were fab. Rustic but cool. Nice hot water with plants decorating them. There were farm animals for the children to visit. It did help that we had beautiful weather whilst down there. I know there is a cafe due to be there at some point in the future which will be a really good addition to the site. So from expecting a right carry on….for my first camping experience I have to say it was just what we needed. Peace and quiet and freedom. Thanks Jay. We hope to be back next year!

This campsite is run by a guy called Jay who is the most helpful and friendly fella. The site is a jewel, its proper camping off grid, the pitches are well spaced and the shower and toilet facilities are spotless and well designed. It’s a short walk to the beautiful south west footpath and even closer is the Queens Arms pub that is super friendly and serves great food. We will definitely re visit..
