We hadn't planned to stop here, but luckily we did. The owner was exceptionally kind, welcoming us, making us feel at home and giving us valuable travel advice. We arrived at the end of the season, so we had the place to ourselves (we felt very lucky). In general, everything was clean, with bathrooms featuring large showers and hot water, a kitchen area and dishwashing facilities—in short, everything a camper could want. A wonderful experience. I hope to return, and thank you again, Alma!

We visited this place the first time in May 2023. We stayed in the wooden cabin for 2 nights. The cabin is equipped with basic amenities . They have kitchen, fridge, bathroom, washroom, 2 beds, sofa. On our recent visit in September 2025 we stayed in another wooden cabin. This has beds, 2 chairs and a table and an electric lamp. We used the common restrooms and the kitchen. The property is like a hidden gem. They have a big farmhouse , apple orchard and plenty of space for camping too. The owners , Alma , her husband and her mother are very helpful. If you need something extra you can always ask them. They also share nice local food and visit spots. It is walkable (20-30 minutes ) from the Radovljica train station. The place is calm and the sunrise and sunset looks so serene. They had some sheep now and we could mingle with them. It’s in nature so you can expect certain insects and bees. So do carry a insect repellent. If you are a nature person then you will enjoy staying here.

First, the positives: The toilets, showers and outdoor kitchen are extremely clean. There's nothing to complain about there. You can choose your own pitch in a field/garden, which is also very good in principle. And the owners are super nice and helpful. BUT: However, what makes the whole stay rather unpleasant is the price. Approximately €62/night for 2 adults/2 children & camper van, including electricity and taxes per night. Unfortunately, this is a tourist price and probably due to the area. For the price, the facilities (1 washing-up area, two toilets and two showers per gender, no chemical toilet!!), the space itself (you stand on a lawn that softens and becomes muddy when it rains) and the location are suboptimal. Especially since the manure from the sheep pen is disposed of on the compost heap in the garden, and if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, you're out of luck. Conclusion: For the price, more is needed. We would have found half the price appropriate. We cannot recommend and will not come back. Other: The campsite is not quite as quiet as often described. We chose it because of the lot of descriptions that emphasise ‘peace and nature’. However, you can hear cars and the train passes overhead every few hours.
