Hotel NH Ciudad de Santander

One of the few hotels in Santander and a classic NH property. Perfectly placed in a quiet locality, the proximity to all tourist spots, beach and dining places is a blessing. The rooms are basic, but has everything that you need. The breakfast is decent too, not worth 17 Euros but if you'd like the variety, then go for it. The front desk folks were great, they obliged for an early checkin as well for us. Housekeeping staff are super hardworking and you can clearly see that from how the place has been maintained.

I first want to convey my gratitude to the staff. They were excellent. We did have a significant issue. Our initial room's air conditioner was not working. The staff stated there was no other room we could be moved to and suggested that we try just leaving the window open. This did not suffice to cool the room during the heat wave. The staff did manage to move us to a small room that overlooked the parking lot for the night. The AC was repaired that next day and we were moved back into the larger room. During our stay the internet was out of service. Lastly, the rooms were in need of a remodel with a fair amount of wear and tear. The location was great.

Perfect central location and very elegant hotel. The parking garage is quite tight, but the reception was excellent and very welcoming.
