Alphotel Innsbruck

Very nice location and direct bus from Innsbruck hbf (F). Place was nice and clean. Restaurant food was nice. Complimentary breakfast was average but not bad. Staff were nice. Basic things was missing in the room like shampoo was provided when we asked. No coffee at room and worst part was mattress and pillows. They were useless and very bad. I stayed one nice and it was very hard to sleep with those mattress and pillows. I think hotel was nice but they are not good with basic stuff.

Very welcoming staff at reception. I booked via an online platform and was informed in advance about possible noise due to renovations, which I really appreciated. However, I did not notice any noise during my stay – perhaps because I was there from Saturday to Sunday. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little outside of Innsbruck (3km to the centre), which makes it a quieter place to stay. I stayed here alone for a week, and overall it was decent for a short-term visit, but the room condition could use some updates. The carpet looked dirty with stains, walls had patches, and while there's an AC unit, I couldn't adjust the temperature due to centralized control—only steam heating was available. No kettle, tea, or coffee in the room was a minor inconvenience after a long day. That said, the staff deserves high praise: fresh linens and towels changed daily, and the bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. The hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious food and very friendly, attentive service. Thanks for the warm hospitality; May be I'd return for another quick stay.
