Agriturismo Tenuta di Biscina

A wonderful respite in a beautiful area. Was warmly welcomed by Lucia who attended to all I could have needed. The apartment was furnished with anything someone might need, whether 1 night or a week or longer. Although there were not enough guests to have the restaurant open Lucia prepared a personal meal (extra $ but very reasonable) and delivered it to my apartment. There are no other services in the immediate area. It was a little cool that day so I didn't take advantage of thr pool, but it was clean and ready had I been up for a chilly swim. The location, along the Way of St Francis, is a pefect spot to refresh and renew. It may be more expensive than a typical pilgrimage lodge, but you will find that this is not your typical place!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here for a short rest on our Via di Francesco in a very hot July. We loved every minute of our stay. The accommodations are comfortable, the pool and grounds are absolutely beautiful and the family that runs the establishment is kind and friendly. We came to the Tenuta with no food left in our packs and Lucia and Francesca kept us unbelievably well fed for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The food is delicious and it really is such a peaceful and relaxing place. They even packed pilgrim trail breakfasts for us the morning we left at 5am to beat the heat. Stay here and be pampered!

My wife and I stayed here during our walk on the Way of St.Francis. It is a charming place and the scenery is breathtaking. Lucia is very personable and helpful. The food was delicious and plenty. The accommodations were clean and in working condition. It is a great place to make lasting memories.
