Moorcroft Holidays

We had originally planned to camp here, but when a bad weather front moved in the owner very kindly arranged for us to stay in a glamping pod instead. This made a huge difference to our comfort and was much appreciated. The facilities were excellent, the showers and toilets were clean, and the campers’ kitchen far exceeded expectations. On top of that, the views across the bay were absolutely breathtaking and really made the stay special.

Stayed in our camper. Facilities were so clean it was like going into a friend's house. Great kitchenette area with microwave etc and some tables and chairs to hang out. This was invaluable during a storm with 75-80 mph winds. Laundry room / drying room was also very clean and reasonably priced.

This is one of the best hostels we’ve stayed in on our many cycling trips. Ideally located 11 miles from Lochmaddy it’s a fairly central point to use as a base for exploring North Uist & Benbecula. The hostel is warm, comfortable and very well equipped and the twin rooms are a good size. Would highly recommend!
