Pension Lachmann

We were very satisfied! The location is fantastic for quickly accessing hiking trails everywhere, and the parking right in front of the house is wonderful. The owners go out of their way to make our guests feel welcome and are very friendly. We booked half-board with breakfast and dinner, which was really good. Delicious and plentiful, with a good selection of food and drinks. The rooms were small but perfectly adequate if you're not expecting luxury accommodations. The fact that dogs are allowed bothered me a little, but well, I'm just a bit sensitive about that sort of thing. I don't need them in the dining room, just like I don't want them barking in the room at night. But those are the only negative points, because otherwise we were very satisfied and will definitely come back again, as the price-performance ratio was just right.

Well, it doesn't help if the hosts are friendly, but the rest isn't up to scratch. The rooms are okay, clean, and nicely furnished. The bed squeaks, waking you up when you turn over. Children's stomping and loud conversations go on late into the night. The hallway to the rooms smells foul—this strange odor (the smell of the kitchen, combined with the smell of a wet dog and the basement) unfortunately permeated our room as well. We left after one night.

The hosts are very friendly, the food was excellent and plentiful. The guesthouse is in a beautiful location and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Our room (garden suite) was clean and well-equipped. The lovely garden has plenty of seating and is a great place to relax.
