Beguta Külalistemaja

Fantastic! Small, cosy, authentic; this place is unique. The location: right next to the castle of Haapsalu, in the old town; 5 min away from the promenade along the beach. All the shops and the cinema are right there. Inside: as was mentioned, small and cosy with only 5 rooms on the floor. The room is clean and warm, a huge bed, a clean bathroom; there is no TV (enjoy the city or read the book 😁), which I loved; wi-fi is available too. Breakfast: vegetarian as all the food in the cafe. I personally had to go to grab some more coffee and a bit more food because I walk much. But if a bowl of porridge and a sandwich with an egg will do, you'll be fine. Haapsalu is gorgeous any time; in spring I found it intetesting to walk in the forest. There is a bit of everything for everyone which makes Haapsalu almost perfect 😊

Spent one night here and loved it! The room was small, clean and beautiful and the café downstairs was perfect for sitting in peace. The Haapsalu castle was two blocks from Beguta and its tower served as a landmark for heading back home :) The lunch lasagna was really good, as was the wrap with mushroom called Chicken of the Woods. Latte and bubble tea could have been better. The service was friendly and warm, even though we did not understand each others fully. Everything went perfect! I will definitely stay at Beguta when I come to Haapsalu again!

Always tasty vegetarian food made from fresh ingredients. Friendly and always helpful service. Best vegetarian eating place in Estonia in my opinion.
