The best food friendly people in here

Excellent family-run pub/hotel in the pretty village of Arnad with friendly staff, a downstairs pizzeria for the evenings, and a most stupendous breakfast (included in the very reasonable room rate). The whole place has a focus on local foods and specialities (I'd particularly looking out for the cured venison!) and everything is presented very nicely. Third floor (there's a lift) has a disabled double bedroom. Good WiFi and ample parking. Lastly, very good value.

We stayed at an airbnb in Verrès because we couldn't decide between skiing in Courmayeur and Breuil-Cervinia. This town made both possible. We ate here twice on our way back home. Pizza was great. We had asked for suggestions and our very nice waitress recommended this....hmm. it was like a purple gnocchi with a local cheese similar to blue cheese. Sounds strange but delicious!
