Really like this campsite, modern and comfortable, good showers and toilets. 22 euros in September which includes showers and electricity. Lovely owner. We phoned on arrival and he told us to set up and he would come by later to take details. All very easy. Short walk to town and beaches. Restaurants, Spar supermarket, fruit shop, bank in town. Sheltered sandy beaches with calm water. We found some short trails.....to the lighthouse, to the old bridge, along the low cliffs, to the old castle. Peaceful place, just delightful. Interesting bits of industrial history. The beaches are particularly nice and the river estuary is pretty and you can swim in the mouth of the river from a lovely sandy beach.

As previous reviewer said, this is a lovely little site, great facilities and within easy walk of the town. Eugene very helpful with site and local information. One of the nicest sites we’ve stayed on.

Stayed in my campervan for 3 nights. Great campsite very well maintained, showers and toilets was spotless. 5 minute walk into town/ beaches. Guys who ran it was also cool spoke English and give me a run down of the town and what it had to offer.
