La Terrazza dei Pelargoni B & B

Firstly you need to know that this property sits atop the old part of the town, if you walk and have cases it is a trek and when you arrive you have to climb another 3 floors to get to the property. Our room smelt of cigarettes however that being said the bedding was clean and the facilities were serviceable. The breakfast was croissant and jam. The host speaks very little English, was surly and did not help with the ladies with their luggage.

An overnight stay that was superb. This is the Italy you dream of. Rooms decorated like a stately home with tapestries and artworks. Our family room was lovely and comfortable. As for the breakfast, WOW, wonderful selection topped off with amazing coffee and freshly squeezed Blood Orange Juice all served on a roof terrace with amazing views of the mountains and coast.

The B&B is on top of a hill in the old part of town and is not convenient to the beach or the train station but you totally feel like a local staying here and it is amazingly quaint. The room is clean and the bathroom renovated and the owners are friendly and nice and the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is served is the just plain awesome.
