Really enjoyed our stay at Knotts View. Suzanne is a brilliant host, so friendly and helpful. The house and rooms are spotlessly clean and it is such a cosy and comfortable house. Would highly recommended to anyone who wants an amazing base to explore the hills and the lakes.

Wonderful guest house. We stayed here to climb Scafell and Haystacks. Also convenient for Honister Slate Mine. Pretty cottage with comfortable bedrooms and a guest sitting room with open fire. Lots of hot water too. Warm and welcoming, cooked breakfast - and the owner’s father even repaired the sole of my walking boots!

Suzanne was the perfect hostess, food was excellent and even dried my boots and gear ! Borrodale was flooded on my visit and waterfalls were furious and spectacular. A blessed hideaway from the fireworks in Stonethwaite. I would fully recommend Knotts View👍🏻
