What a lovely site. We received a very warm welcome from a lovely lady warden. All of the wardens were friendly and helpful. Pitches were generous and well kept. The shower/toilet block was immaculate. We stayed for 4 nights in September. Having stayed on a few non Club sites it’s always nice to stay on a club site. There is a nice pub across the road too.

Our best campsite in Wales! Super friendly staff when we arrived. We as german visitors got the UK Caravan Club price with our ADAC camp card. They carefully selected the best pitch for us as some rain and wind was forecasted. Nice and well maintained campsite. Super modern and super clean toilets and bathroom. In the small shop at the reception we got both a few groceries and also some nice gifts. One evening we had a delicious dinner at Bryn Arms just next to the campsite. Thanks for this warm welcome! Best regards from Munich.

It's a CAMC campsite so you kind of know what you are getting. The lovely thing about this campsite is that it's a bit quirky and not just a field, so little individual pitches in little cul de sacs. Some of the pitches are overlooked by houses but most are either in the trees or have a nice view out. There is a small dog walking area on the site. At reception there is a small shop selling basics and souvenirs. The toilet facilities have a couple of entrances so fairly close to most pitches. The facilities are new clean and the showers have adjustable temperature. The only downside is that you have to take a key as they are locked plus when the site is busy you can queue to use the showers. The water in the dishwashing area is hot which is a bonus and there is a washing machine and dryer. It's truly a lovely site. In terms of location it is great for walking out of (we have dogs and so walking is our thing and once we park up we don't move the van). If you wanted to drive out it is close to lots of places include Snowdon, Portmerion and Porthmadog. There is a lovely pub called the Bryn Arms literally across the road which opens from 4om on weekends and 12 at the weekend and dogs are welcome. Lots of outdoor space too and no smoking / vaping which is great for us. (I think there is a specific area for that). You can catch a bus T2 at the bottom of the road to Porthmadog too
