Sunny Lyn Holiday Park

Nice place to stay, lots of cabin accom up the hill but we were in tent/campervan section so comments are about that. Totally lovely setting although obviously not for sea views & sunsets. Very pretty stream runs beside with easy access to bridge over it & extensive walks in the woods & wherever for energetic types. 'Facilities' not extensive but very nice quality & seem to be sufficient when we were there. Nice little phonebox 'library' of books & games compensate for no playground & the site shop is small but adequate. Cafe very nice for breakfast but only breakfast as closes early so don't lie in too long...

A very well kept site, with great facilities in a beautiful location, next to a river. The site is situated within easy walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The Thai pub next door is well worth a visit, we didn’t eat but it was fully booked Friday and Saturday night in a fairly quiet area.

Nice campsite in great location next to the river. Clean, modern bathroom facilities, lovely hot showers! A pity they charge extra for hairdryer and the washing machine was significantly more expensive than the launderette in Lynton. Rather limited facilities for those hiking the Coast Path - for some reason the chalets all have outside tables but none allocated for campers and nowhere to cook off the ground or under cover when its raining. On site cafe rarely opens - would be better turned into an indoor campers kitchen/seating area IMO. Price for camping on the high side for what's provided.
