Broadford Youth Hostel

Lovely staff with nice sized kitchen and shared space. Could have done with more bathrooms, space in the dry room and more sockets for charging. However, having two broken beds in one room (which one did eventually get replaced) is unacceptable and did mean I had two awful nights sleep.

Good location, clean, nice staff. Rooms & bathrooms clean. The view is amazing. I just had a problem with the shower system that was too hot at both night and morning. Very big kitchen that allows you to prepare your meals with 3 fridges. Also, there's some food left for free by the last visitors which I find really nice if you need something more. I booked 1 week before I was there and it costed me 125€ for one night which I found quite expensive for a hostel.

Very helpful and low key- I tripped the kitchen fuse board twice by turning down the very loud air extractor fans and the staff never complained or gave out to me. The fire doors are a bit much upstairs and make the hostel seem smaller than it is- but it really was lovely experience and the staff went the extra mile to secure us an additional night's accommodation. great location and very clean. Would recommend to any one.
