The Crown Hotel

Thank you to all the staff who work here its rear to stay in a hotel where your made to feel like you are a guest in a friend's home but here they have made us feel so welcome. 4 star is only because there were some issue with the first room but understandable in a 280 year old pub and moved quickly to a new room 6 stars for friendly service and great pub grub.

We attended The Crown at short notice after being let down by another venue on New Years Eve. Both the service and food were excellent and extremely good value. Everything tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family in the area

Had a great 2 day stay, great value deal. A very warm welcome from Paul and Jo. Room had everything we needed, coffee and tea making and lovely towels. Good selection of ales at the bar, and dinner was excellent (I had burger). Breakfast was superb, great buffet fruit and cereal and very good full English. Definitely would return.
