The bivouac site on the Forststeig trail is in a quiet location on the edge of town, situated in a meadow. Unfortunately, it was still closed on April 3rd, 2026, despite the season having started. There is a dry toilet (currently, the toilet is missing) and a tiny shelter for use in the worst weather. Rainwater collection basins and seating were also not yet available.
