Visited as a party of nine. Rooms and facilities are very good, reception and bar staff are polite and friendly. The restaurants and the conditions around them for half board is confused and needs attention. The main restaurant offers a plat du jour option listed at 55€. This is well above the value allowed at the bistro and mountain speciality restaurants. As a consequence the main restaurant is over subscribed and has two sittings. We only ate on second sitting once and the standard of the food and what was available for dessert was markedly reduced. We were assured this was a one off and we were offered a free upgrade to the gourmet restaurant. Breakfast is good quality but there are often no coffee cups or cereal bowls and at times it is chaotic. The spa and leisure facilities are excellent. Finally some of the mark up on drinks is high watering. A bottle of one white burgundy being over quadruple the cost from the producer.

Well-situated hotel with ski-in/ski-out lockers. Ski shop downstairs. Cosy and spacious rooms with great views. Closed parking garage, better to reserve a place in advance. Helpful staff. Breakfasts offer a choice between salty and sweet, but they are the same every day, dominated by red meat and eggs - would love to see some poultry, smoked salmon or French cheeses. The spa area is small with a few nice saunas, one jacuzzi and an outdoor heated pool - there is no indoor pool and the temperature of water in both the pool and the jacuzzi is too low to stay in for more than a minute or two.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years. Unfortunately it has gone down a bit since the last time I was here maybe 5 years ago. The good: Room 515 was lovely ( if you’re with a partner) The location is still great The guys in the ski shop were really helpful The tea bags on offer were nice Cheese and dessert buffet still ace Staff were mostly helpful The bad: Food has really gone down lacking flavour and vegetables. When there were vegetables they were pureed within an inch of their life and all fish tasted the same. There generally seem to be no offers for vegetarians let alone vegans on the menu. Breakfast is very samey after a while and again lacks anything plant based other than a listless fruit salad and some pretty good fruit, Tomatoes and cucumbers. Lack of staff means that you arrive at breakfast and there might be no cups available at all. Check in time 5pm which is strictly adhered to, never mind checkout is 11pm and most people check out much earlier. Again probably lack of staff, still incredibly annoying when you pay 500 Euros/ night for a room and have to wait for 4 h. Twin beds are not really twins as they cannot be moved apart more than say 3 cm. When we complained they said we had to wait another two hours only to then be told that that’s what a twin is like in the hotel. (Check in now 7pm, really?)
