Magica Torre Medievale

Aside from the fact that the name "Magical Medieval Tower" the place boasts is a complete fake, referring to a building from a much later period and not at all comparable to the ancient medieval towers (those ones, yes) in the (far) center of Viterbo, we found ourselves in a desolate countryside, dark at night and without the slightest service (bar, etc.) for miles around, with a poorly maintained exterior, a dusty driveway and little cleanliness inside the room, fluttering mosquitoes, and the inevitable background noise day and night from the large and very busy roads surrounding this "Magical" medieval tower, forcing us to close the windows and thus suffocate from the heat. If you like all this, book there.

It could be nice, but the location is a bit absurd: far from Viterbo, a dirt road leading there that's good for dusty cars, and the overall price doesn't match the location. I agree that there's nothing "medieval tower" about it, as I've read that in Viterbo the ancient towers are only in the center, forming part of the 13th-century city walls.

Excellent location, just a five-minute drive from the center...in the green countryside...in a renovated medieval tower...where the kindness of the owner is one of its many charms. Two rooms, relaxing garden. Excellent breakfast.
