Beach Hill Meadow Glamping

Stayed here for a long weekend to attend a Wedding. We received loads of information prior to arrival. Mat was brilliant, he met me when I arrived showed me how everything worked. He gave me information on how to contact him if needed and then left me to enjoy the hut in the meadow. The hut itself was built to a high standard. It had a comfortable bed, dinner table for 2, hob with kettle, fridge and a wood burner to keep warm if needed. Outside there was another table for 2 and a fire pit type thing. Additionally there is a full size shower, vanity sink and a composting toilet in an adjacent trailer. This was also presented to a high standard with all the comforts you'd expect. The site felt very safe, with a gate to the meadow and locking doors. You do have to be willing to enjoy the meadow and the fantastic surrounding area as electricity is limited to lighting and powering the fridge. Mat did however provide a power pack to charge your phone. (The 1 pack lasted me the 3 nights which charged my phone 3 tines but he did say he'd swap it out if id used it quicker). Overall its well worth the visit. I'd recommend adults only and its probably not for animals. Mat made sure that he was able to say goodbye and get feedback from me which shows he cared about his guests. All the amenities of a home but all the feelings of nature packaged nicely together.

Excellent accommodation, amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble. On hand anytime for any query and help. Had an amazing break away. Lovely location to explore and mill bay and sunny cove just a walk away, was an excellent area to relax , paddleboard and take in the scenery. The farm shop opposite was also very friendly and went out their way with any request .

Beautiful well appointed Shepherd’s hut, surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Lovely peaceful surroundings and super friendly and helpful hosts. A wonderful retreat in a fantastic location - highly recommend.
