I went many years ago, and it was a real trauma that I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. I went in fifth grade with my school. The counselors laughed at the children. I was very shy and not very bright, and I remember once I asked them to open the room where we all slept so I could get something I urgently needed from my suitcase. The "instructor" started a countdown, saying that if it reached zero and I wasn't out, he'd lock me inside. I ran so fast I couldn't get what I wanted because I was scared, and when I finally got out, I tripped in my haste and (I remember it perfectly, how awful!) the lime popsicle I was holding fell and stained my shirt green, while the instructor laughed. And the food... served on metal trays and disgusting. Then I remember that they only had chocolate milk or Nesquik for breakfast, and I never ate any of that, so I went without breakfast. Without a doubt one of the most traumatic experiences of my life, a terrible personal situation and shameless people.

This camp has made me realize how fun life can be when you're with the right people. I spent 15 days at camp, and they were the best two weeks of my life. The counselors are wonderful people; they're all great, kind, and helpful. The nights at camp are unforgettable. It's impossible to be bored there. The activities are amazing and incredible. I especially loved paddle surfing and canoeing, but the others were great too. I had a blast doing everything. The food was delicious, and I always went back for seconds because everything was so good. The pasta carbonara is unforgettable. During my two weeks there, I made so many friends; I'd even say that everyone at camp was my friend, both kids and teens. The atmosphere is incredible, and I would go back every year because it's so amazing. I hope I can go back next year. If you're looking for a camp for your child, this is the best one you can choose.
