Villa Raffaella

Well kitted out. Friendly owner with excellent knowledge of what to do. Great kitchen. Before you agree to go riding with John check out the gear ratio on his bike.

Nice apartment with lots of space. Good breakfast in fridge. Easy parking. Heating not working properly. No hot water on 2nd morning.

We stayed with friends the last week of July. The apartment is located in the villa's basement: it's very spacious and spotlessly clean, and can comfortably accommodate five adults. The kitchen, besides being beautiful, is fully equipped for those who love to cook even on vacation. There's also a billiards table, which we enjoyed on the hottest afternoons. Even though there's no air conditioning, the house is always cool, and we didn't suffer from the heat or humidity. The owner is very attentive, kind, and helpful. The location is ideal: a quiet residential neighborhood, well-served by bus. It's a 5-minute drive from the city center. It's also an excellent base for visiting eastern Basilicata, thanks to its proximity to major roads. We highly recommend it.
