Al Bersaglio 2 - Lucca

Stayed one night at this cosy little campsite. Short distance to old town of Lucca and public transport to Pisa. Price was nice, all facilities included. Sanitary facilities were clean, warm and straight forward. The building is small and have a light construction, showering might not seem so "private and locked" since a closed shower curtain towards the showers is the only sign of "occupied" at "the wardrobe". But there is a radio so you can always sing along in the shower to let people know you are there 😅. Shooting range did we not hear anything from and the soccer field didn't have any tournaments going. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The dishwashing area needs a solution; the area is today placed next to the gas boiler for hot water, that means you are exposed to exhaust fumes the moment you turn on hot water within 1 meter. That is not healthy and needs attention.

We had a short overnight stay at this peaceful campsite and really enjoyed it. The ladies at reception were very friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. The facilities were great — there was a warm shower, clean toilets, a washing machine, and electricity available, making the stay comfortable. Our camper van spot offered a beautiful view, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The location is excellent, just a short distance from Lucca city centre, making it convenient for exploring the city while enjoying the calm of the campsite.

Avoid this campsite. Loud gunshots from the nearby shooting range are constant. Staff are rude and inconsiderate. Campers are jam packed together like sardines. Wish I had gone elsewhere
