We had a wonderful lunch dining experience at Le Coucou Montreux. From the moment we arrived, all the staff were incredibly friendly and greeted us warmly, making us feel truly welcome. When we had trouble deciding what to order, the staff kindly gave us their best food recommendations, which turned out to be excellent choices. Every dish we tried was yummy and delicious, especially the cheese fondue, which we absolutely loved. From the mains to the desserts, everything was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend Le Coucou Montreux to anyone looking for great food and warm hospitality.

One of the greatest restaurants in that area. Let me note that I haven't visited the hotel; I was just a guest at the restaurant. One (and the only) drawback is that it is hard to get there by public transport. But if you have someone to give you a ride, I'd strongly recommend visiting this place while you are in Montreux or nearby. Coucou offers a great and quite extensive menu. Of course, it features excellent fondue and a dish with an interesting name for Switzerland - Malakoff. This is a hot appetiser: fried cheese balls, named after the Malakhov Kurgan in the Crimea. In the mid‑19th century, Swiss mercenaries took part in the Crimean War and, remembering their native food, would take pieces of cheese and fry them over a campfire. Later, by the end of the 19th century, the dish took its current form: Gruyère cheese in batter, fried in oil. It is absolutely delicious! What else makes Coucou great is its absolutely stunning views. You can see Lake Geneva as if it were in the palm of your hand, plus Montreux, neighboring Vevey, and the mountains… And if it is warm, it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. The service at the restaurant is excellent - everything is served promptly. A remarkable place with very tasty food and breathtaking views. I would really love to return there someday! -)
