We were biking in the region and we were five friends who did a reservation of two double rooms and a single room in Maison Camelat. To start with Mariane, the female host, started to order us things without offering to us any explanation at all about why (take out the shoes, take out the socks, leave your bag here and take only with you the things you need for the night, etc, etc) and most important without adding the word "s'il vous plaît", so were just orders. We were really surprised about her attitude but we followed her until our bedrooms, but our surprise was when she only had two double rooms. She didn't have available the third bedroom, the single one. She offered our friend to sleep in a shared room with another men and a women, it looks like that was normal to her, no apologies, nothing, just saying this was the only option she could offered to us. We had to find another bedroom in another chambre d'hôtes in a village 9km far from Arrens Marsous for our friend. This was unacceptable. We can also say that the dinner was ok but the breakfast was very poor, mainly bred with butter and jam and some cereals, clearly the poorest of the four hotels we stayed during our four days bike tour. I would never recommend to choose the Maison Camelat, even if the house is very nice I really believe people is more important and deserve respect. A reservation is like a contract and to be polite with your clients is always a must. By the way the region is incredible and we had a great experience in all the other places we stopped, hotels, restaurants, etc.

Last year I did the whole GR10 at once. The whole impression of my hike was awesome. I met so many cordial and hospitable French people. This B&B is the only place which left sour taste in my mouth. The stay itself is OK, lovely done as many other French B&B. The problem was male host, who acted weird. In the morning , when I went down to breakfast area, rather late, there was no anybody at the table already. I picked up a bowl for cereal and bread leftovers from bread basket. The piece of bread was barely a couple of inches. The the male enters , approached me and took that piece of bread right out of my nose and placed back into bread basket without looking at me. I was stunned. Why not to bring more bread if it's needed ? And why to take that 5cm chunk, if noone else around as I , most likely the last who has breakfast here ? This kind of unprovoked aggression is beyond my understanding. Never happened before, never after. Weird.

A beautiful house with reasonably clean rooms and, certainly by French standards, a fine breakfast. A somewhat eccentric hostess, but then again, you are in someone's home: this is not a hotel or gite. The surprise comes at checkout: €140 for 2 people with breakfast is bizarre. You immediately understand why prices aren't posted anywhere. You'd better skip this place.
