Agriturismo Poggio Istiano

We had a wonderful stay at this agriturismo! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and our Almond apartment was both modern and cozy - beautifully designed yet keeping an authentic charm. I personally don't like old farm rooms so this was perfect, but this agroturismo has Tuscan style farm rooms as well. The location is perfect, easy to reach and close to all the main attractions in the area. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, parking was available, and the adorable kitten on the property was such a sweet touch. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful agriturismo. The location could not be better, in the heart of Val d'Orcia, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and rolling hills. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Our host Tiziana was exceptional. She gave us tips for the area (we loved the hot sprigs in Bagni San Filippo), prepared an amazing breakfast every morning, and we got to taste her fresh new batch of this year's olive oil. We bought a bottle that we are enjoying back home as a little souvenir of our time in Tuscany.

Just returned home after a wonderful week at Agriturismo Poggio Istiano – truly one of the most charming places in Italy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Tiziana is the most wonderful host you could wish for. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Val d’Orcia, surrounded by the beautiful hilltop villages you’ll want to explore. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast lovingly prepared by Tiziana, featuring homemade cakes, local salami, cheeses, and many other delightful treats. It was a highlight of each day. I wholeheartedly recommend Poggio Istiano to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable stay in Tuscany – and I can’t wait to return!
