Moulin de Haller

This old mill is a lovely property in a brilliant location. Surrounded by water ponds, streams and forest, it’s very soothing and an urban noise free haven. The property is as described. If you do not like dogs, and require daily cleaning, DO NOT come. Step of the property and immediately on to the many walking trails and circuits. Kim is brilliant host, cheerful, friendly and accommodating and a great raconteur. The house mates were absolutely splendid. We stayed for three nights and wished we had booked for a longer stay. We will be back. Absolutely recommended to the hiker, traveler who enjoys the hidden gem.

The owner is nice, but the accommodation is in very poor condition. It seems as if someone had planned a major renovation but then didn't follow through and eventually gave up. What's on offer is a very messy private apartment, no sink in the cluttered, lockable toilet, the bedroom door can only be locked from the outside, and there are countless spiders, especially in the bedroom. The bed was the only thing that was actually clean. It was a bit of a gamble to spend the night there.
