What a mess. Service is sporadic, to check in we had to wait until the waiter was done eating. Staffing was extremely thin. (but friendly) Payment was BEFORE checkout. The stairs to go to the 3rd floor are very narrow, difficult with baby carrier. No elevator. The rooms are outdated, our bathroom door was broken, hinges were lose. The breakfast was staffed by onlt one person, who was absent for 20min (breakfast is from 8-10). Eggs were cold, water for coffee had to be filled by clients. (plenty of empty PET water bottles were around the coffee machine). Echternach cannot be proud on this one. Sad story. Stuck in the 70s.

Lovely little hotel on the central square of Echternach. The perfect base for hiking in the region and enjoying a bar or restaurant in the city afterwards. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. Rooms are a bit dated, especially the mattresses could use an update. They are however very clean and tidy. Overall a great experience!

Okay. Whilst the hotel did little wrong, it wasn't great. Great location and clean but I felt like we were seen more as a commodity than as people. Nobody was rude but made no effort to engage either. Breakfast was exactly two small rolls with one slice of cheese and one slice of ham, one croissant orange juice and tea or coffee. Whilst I don't have a big breakfast, I couldn't eat their exactly measured breakfast another day. An injection of the human touch would lift the hotel noticeably.
