Villa del Sole

We have just left Villa del Sole after staying two nights, but I couldn't wait to leave a positive review. We had an excellent stay. The location of the property is absolutely picturesque, and even though the road leading down to the property is long, narrow, gravelly and winding (as are most small roads in Tuscany) the views are absolutely worth it. Not to mention Roberto's warm hospitality and very helpful nature. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was also well equipped and charming. Breakfast was varied, more expansive than expected (with breads, croissants, cheeses, eggs, salad, fruit and cereal) and always prepared with care. Roberto would also come up and ask if we needed anything else. The pool was exceptionally clean and offered 270 degree views of the surrounding Tuscan hills. Overall an outstanding stay, wish we had stayed longer! Highly recommend.

Outstanding location for a Tuscany trip. Roberto hosted us with a great kindness, great breakfast, great garden and pool, view from the garden and the pool are breathtaking, perfectly located at 3km from San Gimignano, super location for a basis camp for a Tuscany visit. We stayed 7 days and a bit sad we had to leave.

We stayed at Villa del Sole in San Gimignano for just one night, but we definitely recommend staying longer! The room was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and the views from the villa were absolutely breathtaking. It’s located just a short 3–4 minute drive from San Gimignano, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Roberto is an exceptional host—warm, helpful, and kind. We felt truly welcomed. Highly recommend this gem in Tuscany!
