YHA Perranporth

Went here for 3 nights with my mum and son to get away for few days prior to my dads funeral. We booked the family room and Upon arrival The views was out of this world The staff was very friendly but unfortunately the cleanliness of the room and other areas wasnt good. Had to ask the lady if she had some cleaning stuff to wipe the fridge out as there a very long hair and drinks stain amongst other bits in the fridge and the sink and side area was covered in bits and dust. Then later that day and the following day noticed more dirt in the room in cupboards and never had any hot water even washing up in main kitchen area. Noticed that the main sitting area wasn't tidied or swept hardly whilst there with chairs all over the place at times just looking untidy and messy. Unfortunately someone that had been also staying there hadn't cleaned there dirty plates and cutlery properly and just left them on the side which is a shame. It does get quite noisy from early on there was woken up from 7 onwards with people banging around including dogs barking which they did leave a notice on the wall to say it does get noisy from 8 onwards so don't be expecting a lay in whilst there. There was no cleaning of room done whilst we was there wasn't sure if there would be or not prior to booking but not a major issue just had to ask for extra toilet tissue. And there was hardly any hand wash in the soap dispenser in toilet. It's over priced for what it was/is you are literally paying for the view. We was also told that we would get 10% off food and drinks whilst there but we only got 10% off on one occasion which was a shame but never mind. Due to the reasons of us being there we really didn't want or need more issues so just got through it best we could befor coming home. Food was great though.

Its a lovely place to visit anytime we loved it

This was the best place I have ever been in my entire life. This was my nirvana. I will never be anywhere where I am happier, calmer, more confident in myself or at peace with the unbearable weight of the universe. The nights of my life I spent in this oasis of tranquility will forever be imprinted upon my conscious. I will never forget my time here as long as I live and neither will my children nor their grandchildren. Thank you YHA ❤️✨you have changed my life!
