Finca Goleta

Finca Goleta ist a hidden gem. We are lucky that we found it! The owner and all employees are very friendly and helpful. We stayed here two nights. We cannot complain about anything!Beside the stay, we need to mention the food/restaurant. The breakfast is great and the dinner is exceptional! We asked for the degustation menu for dinner, which is apparently only served at lunch. But the chef created a smaller variation especially for us. This was one, or the best, dinner we had on our Spain trip. So it was very good! We can only recommend to go there and try it out!

One of the best hotel experiences I ever had. Beautiful location in an old building with original wooden staircases and ceilings made from full tree trunks, elegant bathrooms and nice beds. The hotel owner/receptionist is very friendly and welcoming, and highly attentive. The breakfast was exceptional with coffee, different types of bread, fruit, jams, French toast, and more. So much that it hardly fit on the table. We will definitely be back!

Finca Goleta: A little paradise by the river with a beautifully kept little park and garden. Beside the main house there are several other smaller buildings with the traditional stone structure and even a small, old fashion corn shed on stilts. The interior of the house shows impressive workmanship of masonry and woodwork. All is impeccably kept and sparkling clean. However, what sets this place apart is the attention to details: The bathrooms holds a much better set of accessories than most Paradores and is thoughtfully equipped e.g. with a rail in the bathtub and other little details. Our room was under the roof but felt big an spacious. Everything worked and was clean - facts that we found missing in high class places. The service was impeccable and the friendly staff even insisted to carry our luggage upstairs. A real gem!
