We recently stayed in this beautifully renovated house with our little dog. Perfect location off the High Street. Immaculately clean, very comfortable bed, tastefully decorated and furnished room with great small touches, such as chocs and biscuits for us, and bowls, treats and blankets for the dog, and access to a fridge if needed for her food. The breakfast was excellent, the best quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Very chilled and relaxing for all of us, Michele and Bill are lovely helpful hosts. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taunton House B&B.

My partner and I stayed at Taunton House B&B for a few nights. We arrived and was able to check in early and was welcomed with open arms. The location is perfect, very close to the town and pier. The property is extremely clean and decor is fantastic! The facilities at the B&B are great, there is a boot room to put your bikes, wet beach towels etc and free parking at the back of the property. The breakfast every morning was beautiful! The hosts couldn't do enough you, if you needed or wanted something, it generally wasn't an issue. We hope to return to Swanage and we wouldn't look else where for accommodation. Thank you! Matt and Claire. Thank you for a great stay!

We arrived slightly early and were met by Michele just outside, obviously we were looking a bit lost ! We were warmly welcomed to our room and this courtesy was extended throughout our stay. We stayed 2 nights along with our dog and loved it. The room and bed were very comfortable and we were able to make use of the boot room to dry the pooch when required. The house is beautifully looked after by Michele and Bill and they work hard to ensure we were well looked after, including a hearty breakfast on both mornings. Visiting the town with a dog was very easy thanks to the tips we received from Michele, most restaurants were dog friendly and we had a great meal at The Salt Pig Too. We were able to visit the beach and also walked to Corfe castle along the ridge and caught the train back - beware the start of the walk was quite boggy. A visit to a nice town made extra special possible thanks to our wonderful hosts. Jo & Stuart
